Dan Erling is president and CEO of Accountants One, a recruiting firm dedicated to attracting, hiring and retaining the best in Accounting and Financial Talent. Under Dan’s leadership, Accountants One examines client culture and conducts candidate behavioral analysis to determine cultural fit. This focus has led to an annual placement success rate that has never dropped below 92% and has been as high as 98%.

Dan holds his bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University and proudly serves on the Panther Athletic Club Board. Dan received his master’s degree from Emory University.

Dan joined his father, Bert Erling, at Accountants One in 1998 as a recruiter. Father and son enjoyed working together and grew the firm by focusing on quality service. Bert taught Dan that long-term relationships are always more important than short-term sales. Bert Erling died unexpectedly in 2010 – we miss him, but we take solace in knowing how proud he would be of the continued growth of the Accountants One family.

Accountants One serves a diverse range of clients – from international public companies in growth mode, to small companies looking to hire their first Controller, to CPA firms looking to augment their teams. The one constant across the broad range of clients is partnership versus a transaction-oriented relationship.
